1. City on the Move Tour
Departs from the Cairns Convention Centre at 9.30am.
Highlights cover major waterfront and airport redevelopment by the Cairns Port Authority and the new Sita - CEC Environmental Solutions (Bedminster) Waste Recycling Facility.
Tour finishes early afternoon. |

2. Corridors through the Rainforest Tour
Departs from the Cairns Convention Centre at 9.30am.
Sponsored by Queensland Department of Main Roads
Highlights include onsite details of the challenges facing the proposed $1/2 billion upgrade of the Kuranda Range Road (subject of a Conference paper) and an opportunity to appreciate how similar challenges were met over a hundred years ago in the construction of the historic Kuranda Railway.

3. Infrastructure on the Reef Tour
Departs from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at 9.30am

Highlights include return ‘Fast Cat’ boat trip to Green Island with onsite inspection of advanced wastewater treatment plant, desalination plant and coral cay erosion management issues.
