Stamford Park Homestead Wedding
We are Jehovah’s witnesses and Bayswater kingdom hall is our local church for our congregation. We are very familiar with this venue. The reception at the homestead is connected to our proposal and engagement. Also it’s historical and gorgeous and local for us. Stamford Park Homestead is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We grew up together in the same church. Then went to local school together and worked together in his family’s business for a few years as well before loosing contact for over 10 years. Reconnected a few years ago and our relationship grew from there. On reflection looking back, we both were attracted to each other. But at the time in our youth we had different life goals so it wasn’t right timing. I wanted to go overseas. Thomas wanted to get married and have a family. So I went overseas. He found someone and got married and had 3 children. His marriage has since broken down and he got divorced. And yeah after covid we found each other again and different phase of life. I came back from Indonesia and felt more settled, he had his children already. And it was just right timing for us.
The Proposal: Our proposal took place at Stamford homestead in the garden. This is also where we will have our first look and the homestead is our wedding reception. I felt excited and nervous on the proposal as it was a suprise but I felt like something was up. Haha. but it was an amazing suprise to be proposed to there and then my fiance surprised me with our dinner reservation. When we walked in for dinner all our family was there to have a celebration dinner together.
