How we met:

Childhood sweethearts- we were flower girl and page boy for Bridget’s sisters Deb ball. Parted ways post primary school, bumped into each other at a few basketball games which lined up in year 10. Went to both year 11 and 12 formals together- started dating in year 12. It will be our 10yr anniversary on the wedding day (9th May)

The Proposal:

Ben proposed on our 9 year anniversary at home after dinner! Was a complete surprise!!! Was very well planned and thought out! Started off with candle lit take away Thai for dinner- (our anniversary tradition), followed by 3 hidden surprises (1st wicked stage show tickets, 2nd night away in the city, 3rd Pant suit and coat)- he encouraged me to try on the clothes (in order to get me out of my work clothes- so he didnt propose to me in my work uniform) as I return he was down on one Knee!

Vue on Halcyon was the perfect blend of elegance and charm. Golden light poured over the vineyards, the chapel’s timber beams framed the vows beautifully and the open lawns set the scene for relaxed celebrations. Switching between photography and video, for my hybrid package, I captured every smile, laugh and little moment in between, each viewed by the stunning Yarra Valley backdrop.
