Weddings at Farm South Gippsland Weddings

We chose our venue because our family friend offered up the paddock in their farm and we loved the idea of doing our own thing our own way and on our own time. Kongwak Butter Factory is where the photography took place.

Wedding gown // I actually bought it brand new off of Facebook marketplace.
It’s a graceloves lace dress. The boys outfits are from Conner.
Hair & Make up // Benji’s birth mum is doing our hair. And his sister is doing my makeup.
Conducting the service // Jenny Babidge, she is a family friend and neighbour.
Wedding Flowers // We have half fake flower and half through a connection from a family friend.
Wedding Cake // Cheesecake shop lol, plus top one is gluten free and my mum and I made that.

How we met:

We met back in March 2023, we matched on hinge. I (Alana) was unsure at first but knew from the first date I liked his company. Benji was pretty much all in from the first date.

The Proposal:

Benji did it on our holiday in New Zealand up Mt Raupaheau where he used to go skiing with his family growing up. He was nervous and I could feel his hands all sweaty and shaky. He looked up at a spot and was like that looks like a good rock to see up the fountain. Got down on one knee and romantically goes, well now as good time as any, do you wanna marry me. Haha
