Gables Malvern Wedding

We chose our wedding venue, The Gables Malvern. Firstly, we wanted to be local (after the pandemic highlighted the value of our local community). Secondly, we loved the look and feel of the Gables, as it’s both classic and grand, but approachable too, and that fits us very well. The Gables Malvern is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: It was September 1995 at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Brett thought Cathy was cute, interesting and smart (since she was talking to another friend about history); Cathy thought Brett was friendly, attractive and interesting to talk to, and she was glad she got his email at the end of the party (email was cutting edge in 1995).

The Proposal: There wasn’t technically a proposal, it was a mutual decision. It was on the 67 tram going into the city to have dinner with friends and we got talking about getting married and decided to do it. We were both very happy (but also needed a three day cooling off period just to be sure, before we told anyone!)flowersbride Gables Malvern Wedding happy day Gables Malvern WeddingGables Malvern Wedding bride Gables Malvern Wedding Gables Malvern WeddingGables Malvern Wedding Gables Malvern Wedding Gables Malvern Wedding family dad
