Wedding at Stones of the Yarra Valley. When asked about the choice in venue, Jacki said “Stones of the Yarra Valley is a gorgeous venue. It created the right environment that we wanted for our wedding. We particularly like the small touches around the grounds that make one feel that you have been transported to Italy (as it is part of Jacki’s heritage).” The ceremony took place in the chapel at Stones and was conducted by the amazing Paul O’Donohue. The girls were dressed by L’Amour Bridal Boutique and the Groom & Groomsmen’s suits from Briggins. Hair was by Kym ‘n’ Co Hairstudio & Make-up by Candice James Beauty Therapy. With the flowers by Melbourne Bridal Rose and the Cake was supplied by Mad about Cakes. The wedding photography was taken around the beautiful surrounds at Stones of the Yarra Valley.

Over 9 years ago Jacki and Jamie met at a mutual friend’s 21st birthday part at the Knox Club in July 2007. They were both 20 years old. The party was for a friend of Jamie’s from high school, and a newer friend of Jacki’s. The proposal was last year on Jacki’s birthday that Jamie chose to pop the question by writing “Will you marry me?” in her birthday card. He asked (via the card) at the end of a long day of Jacki shopping with her sister and dining with her family and close girlfriend, Ashlea. Jamie felt relieved and happy; Jacki was thoroughly overwhelmed and thrilled – it made for a very memorable birthday.
