Luna Event Space Wedding

We chose our wedding venues, Luna Event Space and Scotch College, as this is where Jack went. Scotch College has a gorgeous old chapel and we thought it would be a waste not to use it for our ceremony. Ruth found our reception location, LUNA Event Space, through social media and loved the minimalist style it offered! Luna Event Space is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We met at a church Christmas carols event. Ruth was playing violin with her family as part of a string quartet, while I was roleplaying a wiseman in the nativity scene!

The Proposal: It happened on November 26th, 2022, while we were in QLD visiting some of Jack’s family. We had been out for the day on jet skis and boats with cousins and on the way home took a detour to a local mountain to take in the views from the lookout. The weather was gorgeous and while we stopped for photos at the top I (Jack) turned to Ruth and said a few words and dropped to one knee and asked Ruth to spend the rest of her life with me – and the rest is history!
