We chose our wedding venue, Mewburn Park Homestead, as its beautiful location to celebrate with our family and friends. We love the country charm with history and a modern twist. Mewburn is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We had already known each other through horses but hadn’t communicated all that much. Tim made his return to show jumping after a 6 year break and the rest is history.

The Proposal: • Tim proposed to Court at the Melbourne Cup 2023 on the Furphy Deck • Tim had the ring in his suit pocket (easily spotted), and Court said, “Are you sure you want to leave that?” not having any idea what it was (assuming it was his wallet which has caused many discussions between Court and Tim as he tends to leave every single card he collects in his wallet). • In response to this, Marion (Court’s mum who had already been given the heads up what was inside Tim’s pocket but had forgotten) said, “Gee Tim what is that?” • After Tim gave her a look of “ARE YOU KIDDING MARION”, he was able to smooth the situation over without alerting Court. • The proposal then occurred later in the day and many champagnes and tears were had.
