Wedding Victorian Marriage Registry
We chose our wedding was held at the Victorian Marriage Registry. We had originally planned the big wedding, but after my dad was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer we re evaluated what we wanted. We decided to move the wedding up, and decided to take the stress free way and do our ceremony at the registry office. The reception venue, The Park in Werribee is a place we’ve being going to since we got together with friends and family. So it made sense to hold it there. Around the city in Melbourne and at the Park is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We actually met through tinder. Ryan lived in Hoppers Crossing and I lived in Wallan. Ryan – She was small but feisty Jaymee – He lives so far away and that his little bungalow out the back of his parent’s house was too neat and tidy for a boy to be living in.
The Proposal: We got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2023. Ryan and asked if I wanted to go into the city to watch the fire works about a week before and I said ‘sure, if you want to’. It got to the morning of New Years, and Ryan asked if I was still in the mood to go watch the fire works, but I didn’t really want to. Instead we went into the city for lunch. After lunch Ryan asked if I wanted to go for a walk around the Botanic Gardens. We walked the entire gardens because Ryan wanted to see the big pond. It was really busy that day. We left and went home. When we got home Ryan started acting a bit odd, and asked if I wanted to do the diy clay kit I had bought for us to do. He told me to sit opposite him at the table and it was a competition. When we were done he made me close my eyes and move to his spot, when I opened my eyes he was on his knee holding the ring. I looked at what he had made and it was a little square that said ‘will you marry me?’ We went out for ice cream after telling all our family and friends.
