Wedding Wandin Park Estate

We chose our wedding venue, at Wandin Park Estate. We both are quite relaxed and easy going people, who have a love for outdoors and camping. When we found the venue, it was exactly what we were looking for and had that relaxed feel to it, giving us the opportunity to have the wedding exactly how we want. Wandin Park Estate is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We went to the same high-school, however only really got to know each other once finished a few years later as had mutual friends. James had an admiration for Georgie for quite a while, however it took Georgie time to realise and see.

The Proposal: In Tasmania while traveling around Australia together, we stopped to take in the view of Lake Burbury. We had it to ourselves, in which James got the drone out and pretended to take photos of the scenery, however was preparing to propose instead. James was extremely nervous but exciting to get it done as was scared Georgie would find the ring within the car. It took Georgie by surprise and not prepared at all, saying “wtf are you doing” before James could even ask the question. It was quite magical being in the middle of nowhere, with a picturesque backdrop and being able to take it all in and feel grateful for each other.
